2023 – Ayothi

-Heard many good word of mouth reviews for this movie after a long time
-Theme of the movie is excellent one amidst the current political happenings in India
-Sasikumar and Pugazh have performed their characters really well
-Yashpal Sharma and his entire family has performed very well
-Music and Dialogs boosted the film to the next stage
-A feel good film after a long time

2023 – Mufti

  1. Mufti (Zee5)

-Wanted to see this original before watching the remake Pathu Thala
-There is generally an opinion that Kannada movies are not that interesting but off late its not. But this movie is a bit of both
-The screenplay is very boring when the comic track takes the center stage
-Shiva Rajkumar has played his role silently and beautifully and post interval is what he enters and steals the movie
-Most of the scenes are very slow which is quiet opposite to the core of the movie
-An average normal movie with nothing to boast apart from Shiva Rajkumar

2023 – Lift

  1. Lift (Hotstar)

-Due to Dada’s effect, I happened to see this another movie of Kavin
-Ghost based corporate themed story which suits Kavin very well
-Prolonged screenplay of showing horror things without opening the actual twist fails miserably. Twist could have been revealed a bit earlier
-Since the reason for the ghost is shown only for minimal time, it fails to create any effect within us
-Music and other performances are good too.
-Apart from the extended scenes of how ghost is troubling the lead pair, rest of the parts are good in an otherwise average film
