Sivakarthikeyan’s cult status is very high and true to that this film also has received tremendous response from the public. Even the story for this film is written by a big director and thus the film gets bigger day by day. So what this film is offering to us..?

Peter (Sivakarthikeyan) is a jobless man and he falls in love with Yazhini (Hansika). Interestingly, his friends know that he will win. How? His bunch of friends had met a Sadhu in a forest. Sandy (Sathish) had received a boon from the saint of seeing things and actions beyond the range of natural vision. What happens next is the story. The story might seem interesting but hows the screen play.? Its a big let down.

While the film’s first half is enjoyable with pleasant moments, and keeps us glued to the screen. The second half comes across as a predictable plot and is stretched a bit to far with many melodramatic things. The slow pace of the film adds to the misery and could have cut short and kept the momentum going. Sivakarthikeyan has done a regular role. It was not a challenging role and his performance is same as his previous films with few mimics in it. But he has improved very much of his dancing skills. Hansika does the role of how the typical heroine does. The supporting cast are just passable.

The chemistry between the to lead actors is believable and comes across as natural, giving the film a much needed plus point. Anirudh, however, has proved once again that he understands the pulse of the youngsters. In fact, the BGM and sound tracks in the film, make the film appear more exciting than it actually is. Cinematography by Sukumar gets full marks. Editing by Sreekar Prasad is upto the mark.

Even though the story seems to be interesting it gets let down by a poor screenplay but the director has tried to fill up with the basic methods of comedy for which the hero is famous for and also with interesting music which may work for the summer. But overall its not upto the mark. Time pass..!! 🙂
